Elizabeth Cecile Bjornson

Nov. 7/1929- July 1/2008

Suddenly on Tuesday, 1st July 2008, Elizabeth ( Betty ) Bjornson went to meet her Lord. Betty had a wonderful and active life throughout her stay on this earth. Spent many years farming with her Jimmy, and then after his death, married an energetic senior war veteran George Bjornson that made her very happy and travelled together to different places in the Sandilands area.

Betty was pre-deceased by her parents, 3 brothers: Joe, Leo Marquette, Freddie Chatel, also by her sister Anne Marie Powluk . Surviving Betty, are brothers Frank Marquette, Bill Chatel ( Lois ) Raymond Chatel ( Laurie )sister Mary Dupas and many nieces and nephews, also Betty’s family.

Betty made many friends here in Portage La Prairie and in Piney MB.

Family and Friends can gather at Omega Funeral Chapel on July 3 2008 at 2.00 P.M. to celebrate Betty’s life. Burial at Ste Mary’s cemetery, and enjoy meeting all at the funeral chapel after ceremonies. Thank you.
