William S. “Bill” Birston

Peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 94 years, William passed away. He was born on July 22, 1915 in Bonnie Doon, Manitoba.

He was predeceased by his parents, five sisters, five brothers, several nieces and nephews. He is survived by two daughters Stella (Ontario), Sharon (B.C.), one sister Verley Vivier (Winnipeg), one sister-in-law Marlene (Portage la Prairie), several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Wednesday April 21, 2010 at the Omega Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:00PM.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
