     On Tues. April 20th, 2010 after several years of being a resident, Wils passed away peacefully at Third Crossing Manor, Gladstone.

     Wils was born on Aug.29,1926 on the family farm north of Oakville. He received his education at Beautiful Valley School before joining his brothers working the farm at Oakville. He moved to Austin in 1966 and then on to Eadrans where he farmed as long as he was able. Wils loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially telling the tales of his adventures. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and wry sense of humour which he retained for all of his life.

     He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Elizabeth, brothers Russell, George, Earl ,and Gren as well as his sisters Ruby and Winnie.. He leaves to mourn his sister Reta Smith of Minnedosa and his nieces and nephews of whom he was very fond.

     Graveside service conducted by Beth Kerr at Oakville Cemetery on Friday, April 30th at 2:00 PM.

     Memorial donations may be made to Central Plains Cancer Services.
