Jim was such an important part of my early career at Portage. We worked together during a time when there were only 3 qualified GCA Controllers for months until we were able to train additional help. Jim was such a supportive SRC and shared the load every day. I will always remember him for that and for the fact that he was always "Jimmy" to us. Rest in Peace old friend.

My condolences to the Kerwin family. I have had many a spirited conversation with Jim at ANAF Unit 13 over the past 10 years. As an ex-serviceman myself we had lots to talk about. He will be missed.

Heartfelt condolences to all of the Kerwin kids and their families. I'm sure memories of your dad's sense of humor and knowing the pride he showed when speaking of any and all of you will comfort you at this time. My most recent contact with your Dad was when he worked at the Legion and we would have little chats while he was preparing drinks - he was a proud Dad. Thinking of you all.
