Katherine Helen “Kathy” Lamb

            On Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Portage District General Hospital, Katherine Lamb, beloved wife of Gord Lamb, passed away at the age of 50 years.

            Memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place at a later date in Beaver Cemetery.

            Predeceased by her brother Brian and nephew Paul Popoff-Houle, Kathy is survived by her husband Gord; daughter Jenn (Levi Nelson); mother Margaret Popoff; father Bill Popoff; sister Tanis Popoff (Ross Young); brother Mike (Samantha) Popoff; mother-in-law Janice Lamb; sister-in-law Lindsey (Shane) Ferguson; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.

            Kathy was born in Winnipeg and received her education in Portage la Prairie, MB. She had the “biggest heart” ever and was a fun loving person. She was an avid animal lover. She worked as a cook at McDonalds Restaurant in Portage la Prairie for the past 16 years
