Ada Joan Campbell (nee) Lilley
Peacefully with family by her side, Ada Campbell, beloved wife of Arden Campbell, passed away at the age of 77 years.
Ada was born in Layland, MB on June 13th, 1942. She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Caroline Lilley, siblings; Adolph Lilley, Robert and his wife Virginia Lilley, Margaret and her husband Frank Mazurat, and Jane and her husband Don Gladue, grandson Pierre Dacquay, her father and mother-in-laws; Mike & Mary Lamirande of St. Ambroise, MB and Douglas & Loretta Campbell of Yorkton, SK, sister-in-law Lorna (Vic) Reschke of Pinawa, MB. Ada was also predeceased by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Arden, children; Freddie (Debbie) Lamirande, Chuggy (Sandy) Lamirande, Cindy (John) and Lana (Albert) Dacquay. Ada was the proud grandmother of Joey, Lisa, Tiffany, Melissa, Devon, Ian, Cory and Lynn. Great grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren along with many nephews and nieces.
Also mourning her passing are her sister-in-laws; Margaret Hutlet of Portage la Prairie, Ethal (Jerry) Langlais of Rothesay, New Brunswick, brother-in-laws; Brian (Krysia) Campbell, Dale (Rita) Campbell of Foam Lake, SK and Wayne Campbell of Yorkton, SK. Special brother-in-law Leonard (Rabbit) Lamirnade and special niece Theresa (Toosh) Lilley.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie. Funeral Mass will be held at the Good Shephard Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Sask. Ave. E., Portage la Prairie on December 30th at 11:00 a.m. led by Father Gerald Langevin.
