     It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Andre George Desjarlais.  Andre passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie after losing his battle with liver cancer and pulmonary fibrosis.  
     Andre was predeceased by his wife, Alvina Fiddler in 2009.  Andre leaves to mourn his children, Vernon Delorme, Richard Delorme, Lorraine Kehler (Rudi), Claudette Delorme (Dave), Wanda Hum, Joan Desjarlais, Rosalie Wittemann (Rich), Andre Desjarlais Jr. (Charlene), along with 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
     Today a very kind and loving soul has gone to heaven.
     We will miss his sense of humour, his upbeat attitude on life and his ability to love unconditionally.  
    Viewing will be held from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Omega Funeral Home; 83 Royal Rd S., Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
     A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at The Omega Funeral Home in Portage la Prairie at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba following the service.  A time of refreshments and dainties will be held at the Magnolia Room of The Omega Funeral Home following the interment.
