              In is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia Martel on October 9, 2017 at the age of 62 years. 

            Cynthia is survived by her sisters; Celeste (Steve) Tully, Judy (Bob) Kosman; brother, Larry (Bernadette) Martel and several nieces and nephews.

            She is also survived by her extended family at Kin Glen; Janice Dembo, Clarence Morisseau, Tom Horodecki. The staff members Judy Smith, Joy Gretsinger, Joan Reimer, Linda Shepperd and Sandra Vivier.

            Cynthia was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Marie Martel.

            Cynthia started working at Portage Arc Industries on October 14, 1981 and worked there until her recent passing.  She will be missed by her friends and staff.

            A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, MB with Colleen Flynn officiating.
