Eileen Anne Switzer

     Peacefully on August 27th, 2018 with her family by her side Eileen Switzer passed away after a short illness.  Beloved wife of the late Vern Switzer, mother of Tammy and Ian MacInnis, grandmother to Kyle and Shayla (boyfriend Andrew).  Eileen will also be missed by many extended family from throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

     Eileen worked 35 years at the Portage General Hospital. She was a billet to many Portage Terriers over the last 35+ years.  Mom loved watching Kyle and Shayla grow up and spoiled them always. She also loved her Terrier “boys” from near and far that have always kept in touch with calls and visits long after they were done hockey.

     Grandma and Grandpa are watching over us in the stars !!

     Thank you to Portage General Hospital Emergency Room and medical floor staff and Dr. Russel Price.  Thanks to our friends and family for messages, love and support. Especially Cathy and Dave and Lisa and Mark.

     As per Mom’s wishes – there will be no service.
