      It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Wooley on September 2nd, 2018 at Oak River, MB.  Gordon was born September 13th, 1959 in Portage la Prairie to Francis “Allan” and Emilia Wooley.  He was the first born of their three children.  Gordon received his education in Portage la Prairie and worked almost entirely as a butcher. 

     Gordon was predeceased by both his parents, Al and Millie, his grandparents; Frank and Mae Wooley and Philip and Mary Lepine, uncle Earl Wooley, aunties; Delores Schelenberg, Lillian Sutley and numerous cousins and friends.

     Gordon leaves to mourn his memory his brother Sheldon (Laura) Wooley and their children; Sheldon Jr., Nicole and Noah.  His sister Cleonna Marie (Mike) Doy, better known as “Tweety” and her step-children Angela, Missy, Mandy, Shawn, Tim and Tom Doy and families far to numerous to mention.   

     A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at 11:00 am, Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, MB.  Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.   Should friends so desire, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
