Jessie McSween

April 4th 1946 – January 5th 2017

            It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Jessie Margaret McSween of Portage la Prairie, peacefully on January 5th, 2017, at the age of 70 years.

            Jessie is predeceased by her parents, Gladys McSween and Anthony McSween. Left to cherish her memory are many other family members and friends.

            Jessie was born on April 4th 1946 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On January 25th 1954 Jessie made the move to Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Throughout her time in Portage, Jessie developed many special friendships. Her laugh was contagious and she was a social butterfly who always introduced herself to the people she met.

            She enjoyed the simple things in life; visiting with friends, animals, spending time at Lake Manitoba, cooking and a love for food.

            We are incredibly blessed to have known and loved Jessie. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

            Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Jessie’s life at the Aspen Worship Centre on Friday, January 13th 2017 at 1:30 PM.

            As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Jessie’s memory to Lake Manitoba Camp Legacy Inc, Box 1532, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, R1N 3P5.
