It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph on December 27th, 2017 at the Portage & District General Hospital, with his family by his side.
Joseph leaves behind to mourn his son Benjamin and daughter-in-law Jenn, grandson Richard, mother Cecilia, step-dad Leslie, sister Marguerite and sister-in-law Heather. Joseph was predeceased by his father Richard in 2009.
Joseph loved the outdoors, especially sitting at the beach and travelling.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Portage General Hospital for their compassionate care and all the nurses from the Wound Care Clinic who helped care for Joseph at his home. A special thank you to Dr. Parker and Dr. Gray for their excellent care.
In accordance with Joseph’s wishes a private service will take place.
