Linda Phyllis Helen (Blowatt) Beam   

     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend Linda Beam on Monday October 8, 2018 at the age of 66 years.

     Linda was born on April 26, 1952 alongside her twin brother Leonard. In Dauphin, MB.  She was the daughter of Mary and Jack Blowatt.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Dana and Robert Blowatt. 

     She is survived by her husband Don, brothers; Leonard (Diana), and Ken (Laurie), sisters; Grace, Joan and sister-in-law Kay.  Her children Chris, Jenny (Austin), Jody (Alyssa), Becki (Trevor), Beth (Matthew), Melissa (Robert), Derek (Dana) and Devon and her grandchildren Jesse, Joel, Chantel, Kate, Ethan, Ava, Chloe and Kolby, and many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her large spiritual family of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

     Linda loved people, loved life and loved talking about the future when God promised “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it”.  (Psalms 37:29)

     The family would like to express their gratitude to all of those who supported her during her final days.  Especially to the nursing staff that helped Linda during her illness.  It brought great comfort knowing that she was so well cared for.

     A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held at the William Glesby Centre, 11 2nd St. NE, Portage la Prairie on Sunday, October 14th at 2:00 p.m. led by Bill Lyall.
