Sheldon Dwayne Peters was born on October 22, 1964 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Dad was a middle child of eight children. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank Wescoup and May Peters. He leaves to mourn his girlfriend Jennifer West;
his brothers David, Cory (Maryann), Erric, Brent (Stephanie) and Franklin; his sisters, Sherry, Lori and Shanlee (Jarrid); his special sister, Delphine (Lawrence);
his children Cynthia (Shane), Toni (Alex), Hillary, Kayla (Aaron); his step children, Jared, Tashina, Kendra and Papa’s girl Tamara;his grandchildren, Darius, Kailen, Aaliyah, Lucus; his nieces and nephews Carrie Ann, Blake, Lance, Desiree (Virgil), Lauren, Jasmine, Samantha, Jenna, Dreson, Beau, Meadow, Keona and Dayton.
Dad began working at the age of 15. He was told to make a choice by his Dad, either school or work. Dad decided to go to work. When Saturday morning came, Dad was dragged to work at the Henry Brother farms. He loved working on the farm. He continued with the Brothers until they split. He joined his longtime friend, David Henry, on Henry Farms. Even though Dad worked various other jobs, his heart was always called back to the fields.
Dad worked previously at Non-Insured. He left briefly to try another occupation. Since it was not what he felt passionate about, he returned to his Non-Insured family. Working as a medical driver, Dad met a variety of people. He tried to please them all and care for each client he encountered. Even though we do not know all his clients personally, the kind words that spread over Facebook filled our heart with how much love was being sent for our Dad.
