It was left out of the obituary that Victor also had an oldest daughter Velda of Jasper Alberta and three mroe GrandChildren Ivan Josef, Zenon Nikolas and Mira Iryna Olia of Alberta. This was a unfortunate omission of his Daughter Robin Sharpe. We will miss him greatly..love from "number one Son" Velda and family

Robin, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great community builder and always willing to help. I remember getting my car stuck once out by Sharps. No one was home there but your dad came along, went into their shop, brought out their tractor and pulled me out like there was nothing to it. No nonsense. What a guy!

I will miss Vic's smiling face at work. He came in almost every day for either breakfast or lunch. I always made sure to either serve him or stop by his table to chat and he always made me smile. My deepest condolnances to the family

So sorry to hear of Vic's passing. He was a true community leader and what a wonderful volunteer he was over the years in so many ways, not only here in Portage but throughout Manitoba. He always had time for everyone and I always enjoyed our conversations. Thoughts and prayers go out to Vic's entire family.

it was sad to hear that Vic passed away even that it was at the ball park . Vic was a delegate for Mb. softball & I had the privilege of attending many events with him ; a softball guru , a coach , believe an umpire & delegate ; the family & I dropped in on him & his colour- egg laying chickens ; he was a nice guy & will be missed , our condolences to Victor's family. look your best - be your best - do your best was Vic's motto ; the nicest place to be is in someone's thoughts - the safest place to be is in someone's prayers & the very best place to be is in the hands of God , you are safe @ home.
