     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Albert Louis Lilley at the age of 55 years on November 5th, 2022 in Oakville, MB.

     Albert was born on June 22nd, 1967 in Portage la Prairie and spent most of his life in Portage.

     Albert enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved camping and playing slots.  He worked at Lynch’s Point Campground from 1995 – 1999.   He also worked many small jobs such as; painting, flooring and roofing. 

     Albert loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandkids.

     He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

     Albert is predeceased by his dad Adolf Lilley, mother Margaret Hutlet (nee McCharles),  step-father Armand, brother Alvin, sister Loretta, brother Darryl, brother-in-law Ernie West, and nephew Tristan Asham. 

     He leaves to mourn his three daughters; Cynthia (Bradley), grandkids; Braeleigh, Bradleigh and Erick, Amanda Lambert and grandchildren Elianna, Jaxon and Reveigha, Victoria and grandkids; Phoenix, Arizona, Memphis and Montana.  Also left to mourn his loss is long time friend and mother of two of his children Laurie Johnson, mother of his daughter Cynthia; Debbie Sanderson, special friend Diane Panko, Goddaughter Jonie Lilley, sisters; Theresa, Brenda, Judy (Langford), Silence (Joe) and brother Lawrence (Theresa), along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

     Viewing and visitation will be held at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie, MB on Thursday, November 24th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Omega Funeral Home on Friday, November 25th at 1:00 p.m.  Interment to follow service at Hillside Cemetery.
