Alvar Trevor Thomas Carnegie

     Suddenly on September 4, 2019, Alvar Carnegie left us at the age of 48 years.  Alvar was born in Portage la Prairie and lived most of life in Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg.

     Left to cherish his memory are his parents Evert and Linda Carnegie, sisters; Vicky Carnegie (Jarrett Turner), Wendy Carnegie (Peter Garn) and nephew and nieces; Faith, Cameron, Ethen, Elsie, and Erin. 

     Alvar loved his volunteer work, which he did with his whole heart.  Alvar is highly thought of in his community.

     A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Urban Ministry (lower level of Lutheran Church of the Cross, side entrance), 560 Arlington St., Winnipeg MB.  Pastor Barry Bence officiating.  A private family interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
