     On the evening of July 12, 2022 in Elk Valley, BC, our beloved Brandon was struck by a drunk driver. He was then airlifted by STARS to Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB where he succumbed to his injuries at the young age of 28.

     Brandon grew up in Portage la Prairie, MB, where he attended Fort la Reine, Yellowquill and PCI.  He left Portage to pursue his career in construction out west. It was there that Brandon met his girlfriend Cherie Rabl and her 3 children.

     Brandon found a passion for carpentry in which he quickly excelled.  Brandon had no fear of heights, even at a very young age of 3, he followed his dad up a ladder to the roof to see if he could help. From the time his feet hit the ground, he was always up for an adventure.

     Brandon had several other hobbies including; snowmobiling, skateboarding, hunting and fishing, but Brandon’s true passion was dirt biking. While hunting at his home away from home, the Armishaws, and trying to shoot his first deer, he earned the nickname “the barber” after shooting the hair off a deer.

     Predeceased by his great-grandmother Gladys Blagden, grandma Gayle Finlayson, great-grandma Edna Nault, grandpa Will and Grandma Elsie Loewen and great aunt Laurie Nault. 

     Brandon leaves behind his parents Troy & Joanne, his sister Karisten, brother Tye. aunties; Wanda (Mike), Stacy, Lorna (Darrell), Doreen, his uncle Lawrence and the Loewen Family.  His chosen family; Jason Armishaw (Tara), Michael Armishaw, beloved partner Cherie Rabl and her 3 children; Dylan, Addison, Jason, along with his faithful dog Blue.

     Brandon will be deeply missed by his family and all of his friends.

     A Viewing & Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  at the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. N., Portage la Prairie.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Omega Funeral Home with lunch to follow.  Interment in the family plot at Rossendale Cemetery.
