     It is with extremely heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Chris Neufeld (Neuf) on March 2nd, 2022 at the age of 35 years.

     Chris will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by his parents Wally and Donna Neufeld, children; Olivia Sadie, Harley Grace, and Isobel Harmony, sister Megan (Coulter), nephews; Easton and Hudson Donald, his special friends; Chris Anderson, Ryley Mynott, and Adam Carpenter, and mother of his daughters Breanne Miller.

     Chris was born and raised in Portage la Prairie where he remained, beginning a career in the electrical field. Chris had the most infectious smile, and his laugh was the same. He loved to be with his friends, fishing, camping, hanging out at the beach, or hanging around the table with loved ones having a laugh. He enjoyed time with his family, especially Christmas, but most of all time with his best friend, his mom. 

     Chris was the best uncle, before he had his own children, he built the most amazing bond with his nephew Easton. To the many dance parties they held in Nana and Papa's living room, to the cheering in the backyard.  He had also built great relationships with his friends' kids and was known to them as 'Nanny Neuf'.

     Chris was so proud when he became a father, using his grandma's namesake as his first daughter's middle name. He had many plans to build amazing memories with his girls, which we will help you build those Chris.

     Family has chosen to celebrate Chris's life privately.

     In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations can be made to a trust fund for his girls.  An account has been opened at Stride Credit Union on behalf of Olivia and Harley under the name of Wally Neufeld and Megan Donald.  E-transfers are welcomed.
