     It is with great sorrow that we announce the very unexpected passing of Christopher Roy Houle at the age of 33 years on June 23, 2023. 

     Chris leaves to mourn and cherish his memory; mother Rebecca Houle, stepdad Ken Sandney, daughter Adrielle Houle, sisters; Krystal Sandney, Kerri Sandney (Donald) and nephew, brother Kyle Sandney (Haylie), uncles; Brian Houle (Serena), Napoleon Houle, Keith Houle (Jennifer), as well as extended family, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

     Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Roy & Mathilda Lamirande, uncle Chris Houle and auntie Patricia Houle.

     Chris, in his younger years, enjoyed spending time with his late grandpa Roy and uncles hunting. He also enjoyed going on camping trips to Spruce Woods and other campgrounds in Manitoba with his grandparents and the rest of his family. Chris had many friends who he always had nothing but good things to say about over the years growing up and throughout his careers at Spring Hill farms in Neepawa and Sam INC in Portage la Prairie. His daughter Adrielle was his pride and joy. Chris was always outgoing, willing to help anyone when it was needed including carpentry and farming with his late Grandpa. You would always find him laughing or smiling, which is going to be deeply missed by all who have had known him in his 33 years of life.

     In honor of Chris a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Funeral service will be held at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie on Monday, July 10th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
