Darrell Craig Hill
It is with great sadness that we announce that Darrell Craig Hill left this world on November 11th, 2021. He was the center of our family, leaving his wife Linda, his daughter Vanessa, his son-in-law Tony and their children; Jake, Abbey, Dylan and Callie of Winnipeg. Also, his son Derek and granddaughter Hayden of Pheonix Arizona. They will all miss his teasing, devotion and love. We can take solace in the fact that he did not suffer.
Darrell is also survived by his brothers; Leonard (Linda), and Lester of Fort Frances Ontario, his sister Gwendolyn Beange of Nipigon, Ontario and brother-in-law Randy Roberts (Susan) of Salmon Arm B.C., along with a number of nieces; Kimberly, Amanda, Jodi, Julie and Lindsey and nephews; Chad, Kevin, Christopher, Bradley and Ryan.
Darrell is predeceased by his father Fredrick, his mother Florence, mother-in-law Inez, sister-in-law Joanne and his brother-in-law Blake. He is also survived by lifelong friends; Brian Wreggit and Richard Makar.
Darrell spent 15 years working for Safeway, first in Fort Frances and then in Winnipeg. He then returned to school and worked at Department of Health and finished his career at Canada Revenue Agency.
He will be remembered for his calming voice, even temperament, diplomacy and above all, his caring attitude.
Darrell’s family will celebrate his life privately.
