Dellanne Marie McFarlane
With saddened hearts, surrounded with the love of her family and friends, Dellanne Marie McFarlane, age 67 years, peacefully passed away at the Portage & District General Hospital.
Dellanne is predeceased by her parents Bill and Loreen McFarlane, brother Murnie McFarlane, and brother-in-law Jerry Lavallee.
Dellanne leaves to mourn her passing her sisters; Charlene Lavallée, Cyndi (Stan) Sharp, and Crystal McFarlane. Nephews; Derek (Jen) Sharp (children; Kaylee & Dylan), Christopher Lavallée (daughter Caitilyn), Brenin McFarlane (children; Olivia & Duncan), nieces; Jennifer (Cole) Dawson (children; Blaire & Ellis), Azure-Dee (Andrew) Devos (children; Kayson, Sophia & Kolena), Ashley (Shawn) Giles, (son Rowin).
Dellanne was born on March 6, 1955, daughter of Bill and Loreen McFarlane in Portage la Prairie, MB. Dellanne worked for 41 ½ years at the Portage & District General Hospital. She loved to travel, and spend time with friends. Hawaii held a special place in her heart.
She could always be seen with her little dog Xara by her side, and cherished her memories of her little dog Ty, who sadly left her in 2016. Xara and Ty, her “fur babies”, meant the world to Dellanne. She also enjoyed walking in the park looking for rocks. Dellanne had a very gifted hand at crafts, and she loved to bake and make goodies to share.
A special thank you to the family and friends that came to visit Dellanne over the last few months, and a thank you to Dr. Kinnear and his chemo team.
