Peacefully, on Friday September 11th, 2015 at her residence in St Ambroise MB
Edna Marie Ducharme, widower of the late Ted Ducharme passed away at the age of 76 years.
A prayer service will be held in the St Ambroise R.C. Church on September 18th, 2015 at 10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the St Ambroise Cemetery.
Edna was born December 7th, 1938 to Alphonse and Rose Lafreniere in Camperville, MB where she was raised and received her education. She married Ted Ducharme on October 27, 1956 and they resided in St Ambroise and raised seven children. She helped with the gravel truck company and retired in the early 1990’s.
Predeceased by her parents, Husband Ted in 2008, Granddaughter Holly in 2012 and Grandson Dave Kipling in 2015. She leaves to mourn her passing five sons: Del (Cheryl) of Winnipeg, Ray of St Ambroise, Wes and daughter Hannah of St Ambroise, Sterling (Lucille) of St Laurent, and Jason (Deanna) of St Ambroise; two Daughters: Jo anne (Mario) of Winnipeg and Jeannette (Doug) of Winnipeg; seventeen Grandchildren; fourteen Great Grandchildren.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren; 2 special friends Lorianne and Sally. Edna really enjoyed supporting and attending community events.
