Eleanore Paula Schmidt

     It is with great sadness the family says goodbye to our sister and aunt, Eleanore Schmidt, on February 25th, 2022.

     Eleanore was predeceased by her mom and dad, Victor and Katherine Schmidt, brother Victor Schmidt, sister Marlene Heppner, as well as brother-in-law Harold Fuchs. 

     Left to cherish her memory is her brother Vern and Nancy Schmidt, along with their family, Julia Oakley and David & Meagan Schmidt, her two sisters; Irene and Jacob Skjaerlund, with their family; Lisa and Stephen Thomas, and Loree and Dan Buck, Wilma Fuchs, along with her family; Angella & Rick Jorek and Shannon & Kris Liznick.  She is also survived by Marlene’s family, Chris Heppner and Dustin & Leonora Heppner. 

     Eleanore loved all of her nieces and nephews and the addition of their children, her 10 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece and 3 great-great nephews.

     Eleanore spent many years as a nurse, providing love and care to the residents of the MDC, where she retired in 2004.

     By her request, no funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, because of her love for her dogs and cats over the years, please consider donating to your favourite animal rescue or pet shelter.
