Marie Elsie Eileen (Nault) Loewen 

        It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Elsie Loewen.  Mom was born August 7, 1944 in Marchand, MB where she spent her early years.  The family later moved to Winnipeg. Elsie is predeceased by her loving husband William (Bill), parents Felix & Edna, her brother Tom, nephew Glen, great nieces Amanda & Brooke as well as numerous brother & sister in laws, nephews & nieces. 

        She leaves to mourn her passing children; Lorna (Darrell), Lawrence, Doreen, Joanne (Troy), stepchildren; Bill, Lillian (Ernie), Edith, Henry & Helen (Mark). Grandchildren; Luisa, Johanna, Ethan, Brittany, Lawrence, Paul, Katherine, Karisten, Brandon & Tye.  Step-grandchildren; Jenny, Nicholaus, Joey, Jamie, Robert, Kevin, William, Sara, Chelsea & Alix.  Special daughter in law Corrine, grandchildren Travis, Sierra as well as numerous great grandchildren whom she all loved dearly. She also leaves behind her sister Inez (Paul), brother Vern (Donna), sisters; Rose, Laure and sisters-in-law Sarah (George), Helen, Eva, Anne, brother-in-law Pete (Angie) as well as many nieces and nephews. 

        Thank you to Sarah (George), Eva, Helen, Netha and everyone that made a point to stop in and visit her while she was at the hospital and at home.  Your visits meant the world to her.   If friends so desire in lieu of flowers donations in Elsie’s honour can be made to Special Olympics Manitoba which was very dear to her and Katherine’s hearts. 

        In following with Elsie’s wishes there will be no formal service.   Elsie will be laid to rest at the Clarkleigh Cemetery with a private family gathering at a later date.
