     The family announces the sudden passing of George Koutny of Yorkton, SK,  beloved husband of the late Joyce Koutny, on June 11, 2021 at the age of 83 years. 

       George was born to William & Marie Koutny on April 26th, 1938.  He met and married Joyce Mowatt in Winnipeg, MB.  George was a welder and he enjoyed woodworking.  He moved and lived in Rhein, SK.  Due to illness moved to Gladstone Senior Residence in Yorkton, SK in 2015.  He enjoyed his time there especially playing bingo, in which he won many times.  He would always say that it was a good place to live and that all of his needs were taken care of.  He loved His Lord and Saviour knowing that he would see Jesus face to face when he died.

     Predeceased by his wife Joyce, parents William & Marie Koutny, three brothers; Bill, Donald and Johnny, a sister Lydia and brother-in-law Willie.

     Leaving to mourn his passing brother Richard (Lillian) & family, sisters; Dorothy (Metro) & family; Milady & family along with many nieces & nephews.

     Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a family graveside service will be held at Katrime Cemetery, Katrime, Manitoba.
