Judith Eleanor Thelma Troop (Cutler)

     The family is sad to announce that Judith (Judy) peacefully passed away on July 15th at the Neepawa Hospital at the age of 94 ½ years. 

     To honor Judy, family will celebrate her life privately, with interment in the family plot at Burnside Cemetery. 

     Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Clarence, son Wayne, granddaughter Jennifer, brothers Eldon and Don, she leaves to mourn; her daughter Marlene, sons; Terry (Cheryl), Barrie (Holly), daughter-in-law Illona Funk (Ralph), grandchildren; Mitch (Hiro), Dan (Jennifer), Nicole (Julien), Kevin (Christine) and Erin (Keith), great-grandchildren; Allen, Liam, Luke, Blake, Nicholas, Bryce, and brother Clare (Cathy) Cutler.

     Judith was born on November 3, 1928 in Quill Lake, SK.  After the family moved to Portage la Prairie during her high school years, she met Clarence and they spent their married life together on the Troop family farm in the Burnside district.  When Clarence died in 2005, Judy moved into Portage la Prairie.  In 2022 she moved to the Third Crossing Manor in Gladstone.

     The family wants to acknowledge and thank staff of the Third Crossing Manor and the Neepawa Hospital for their kindness and care of Judy during her time there. 

     Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Burnside Cemetery, c/o the Community Foundation of Portage and District, 206 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB   R1N 0K9, or the McKenzie United Church, 85 – 11th St. NW, Portage la Prairie, MB   R1N 2S2.
