Karla Gaye Kirkwood

     Karla Gaye Kirkwood passed away suddenly on August 9th, 2020 at the age of 61. 

     Karla was a retired Psychiatric Nurse who loved gardening , the Blues, and devoted much of her time to animal welfare causes.  She cared deeply for her friends and family, always ready to help and support anyone without hesitation.  She gave of herself, always.  Karla loved to laugh and had an amazing sense of humor.  She especially enjoyed the family tradition of farts, as passed down by her father, Murray.

     Karla will be dearly missed by her loving companion Neil McLaughlin of Minnedosa, MB. She is survived by her mother Eva, sister Kamela (Steve), brother Kendall (Bee), daughter Andrea (Season), granddaughter Cedar and nephews Keiffer, Monty, and Dorian.  She is predeceased by her father, Murray.

     We are so grateful that Karla was able to spend time travelling with Neil, visit with family, and meet her granddaughter before she passed.  Karla's family will celebrate her life privately.
