Margaret "Jean" Burch

     The family of Jean Burch announces her passing, at the age of 100 years, on December 30, 2023, beloved wife of the late Murray Burch.   

     Jean was born on December 10, 1923.  Predeceased by husband Murray Burch, grandson David Burch and sisters Isabel Ziegler and Norma Ziegler.  Jean & Murray were married for 71 years, until Murray’s death on June 3rd, 2019.

     Left to cherish memories are her children; Reg (Marion), Dale (Linda), Dennis (Judy), Carl (Lois), Keith (Barb), Melody (Doug), Roger (Connie), and Vaughn (Rhonda). 

     Also her 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 18 grandchildren-in-law, 1 great-grandchild-in-law. 

     A Celebration of Life to honor Jean, will be held on Friday, January 12, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the McKenzie United Church, 85 - 11 St. N.W., Portage la Prairie.  

     Should friends so desire, donations will be greatfully accepted at the Lions Foundation (Lions Vision Programs), 1-320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB   R3B 2W6.
