Marilyn Rose Milne (nee Barnes)

     With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Marilyn at the age of 70 years.  Pre-deceased by her parents John and Alma Barnes, son A.J. Milne, brothers Joseph and Ken and nephew Dwayne. 

     Marilyn is survived by her partner Gerry, children; Tanya Milne (Mike), Carly Trowsky, and Matthew Trowsky (Chantel).  Her grandchildren Bradlee, Alexandria and Heath.  Also, surviving are her siblings; Eleanor (Rick) Bond, Willard (Opal) Barnes, William (Carry) Barnes and Don Barnes and many nephews and nieces.  Marilyn was also loved and respected by the Trowsky Family.

     Marilyn never spoke a harsh word of anyone and was deeply loved by all who knew her.  She will be sorely missed.

     Prayers (viewing) will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednedsay, October 10th at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Sask. Avenue E., Portage la Prairie, MB.  Internment will be at a later date.   

     In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Sask. Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB   R1N 0K8.
