Suddenly, on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Portage District General Hospital, Marjorie Barter, of Portage la Prairie, beloved wife of the late Walt Barter, passed away, with her loving family by her side.
Marjorie is survived by her two children
As per her wishes, there will be a private family interment.
The family would like to express their thanks to the Paramedics, Emergency Room and Palliative Care staff of the Portage District General Hospital for their excellent care, compassion, and treating mom with dignity, while in their care. We would also like to thank the Reverend Father Jose Cabral for stopping by to give her last rights and also offering a mass for her. Thanks sincerely to all of Marjorie’s special friends at Windsor Park Estates. She so enjoyed the chats.
