Myra Joan Marie Allard 

Its with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Myra Joan Marie Allard (Nee Ricard) known as My by her friends and loved ones, Beloved wife of Joesph Robert Allard. Myra passed away May 4th 2022 at the Stonewall Regional Authority at the age of 69.

Predeceased by her parents Francois Ricard and Elmire Ricard, Her Father-in-law Fernand Allard, Mother-in-law Denise Allard and Goddaughter Christine Allard. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Joesph; Her children Cordelia ”Cory” (William Favell), Clarise (Mervin Buhay), Joey (Melissa Ducharme), Her grandchildren, Jade Favell, Sara Allard-McKinnon, Selena Allard, Austin Turenne; Her Great-Grandchild, Emily Favell; Her Brothers and sisters, Patricia (Alphonse), Fran (Edzo), Edgar (Trish), Rodrick (Cathy), Denise (Dave), God Son Luke Ricard, plus many more Nieces and Nephew, And her closest pals Gail Chartrand and Floyd Lepine. 

Mom was born June 21 1952 in Winnipeg, Mb. She grew up in St. Ambroise, Manitoba, where she enjoyed horseback riding, Ranching, sewing, picking saskatoons, fishing and gardening. Mom worked at the Campbells soup Factory and McCains for many years. She worked as a carpenter’s helper for many years until settling into a managerial position at “stich it” 
Mom was a woman of many talents and she enjoyed sewing many weddings and bridesmaid dresses, crafting, woodworking, fishing, hunting, and baking. 

Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Omega Funeral Home in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba at 7:00 p.m.

Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, St. Ambroise Catholic Church in St. Ambroise, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m.
