It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Brother In Law, Cousin, Neighbor and Friend; Paul Waldner on Saturday August 31, 2019 at the Portage Distrcict General Hospital at the age of 70.

Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Maria Waldner, brother Albert, and son Kevin; left to cherish Paul’s memory are his beloved wife Susan Waldner of 44 years; and two sons Raymond (Tamara) and Terry (Nicole), grandchildren Blayse and Maiyah, Brock and Alexis, step mother Maria Waldner, brothers Jacob, Zacharias (Esther), Joesph, Harold (Mary Ann), and Melvin (Irene) and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul was born on October 6, 1948 on Sunnyside Colony in Portage la Prairie.

Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and being surrounded by his grandchildren and attending family gatherings.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the Portage District General Hospital for the care and compassion that they showed to Paul.

Viewing will be held Wednesday September 4th at Omega Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. - 8;00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Thursday September 5, 2019 at 2:30pm. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
