Dear Laurie and Todd,
We are thinking of you and feel badly that we are not with you to help support you in the loss of your Mom. Since losing her, I’m sure you’ve had many sad days and today will be the same. I hope that the service today will bring you some comfort and help you recall many special moments through sharing memories with family and friends.
I only had the good fortune to meet Sheila a few times and it was in more recent years when she was dealing with health challenges. Despite that, she left a memorable impression of a friendly, welcoming person full of spirit. She was delightful and charming. Her smile was a beam. Is that who you get it from, Todd? You must be feeling very fortunate to have been able to spend as much time as you did with her. Your devotion was evident. She must be so proud of her 2 boys and their families.
We would like to do something for both of you when we get back for Fort to honour the memory of your Mom. For now, just know we are thinking of you and extend our sincere condolences to all your family.
