     We are saddened to announce that on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, Tracey Tanguay lost her battle to cancer at age 51.

     Tracey will be remembered by her children; Adrienne (Steven), Dillon (Carrie), Devon, grandchildren; Zoey and Chelsea, sisters; Joanne and Debby (Scott), nieces and nephews; Adam (Cheyanne), Michelle (Vince), Matthew (Tessa), Everett (Daytona), Cheyanne, Deanna, Averiana, and Drayden.  Also, her father and mother-in-law, Armand & Theresa Tanguay, and brother-in-law Lennard.  

     She was predeceased by her husband Stephen, her parents Herbert and Karen Lenz, and her sister Dianna Lenz.

     Tracey will be remembered by her infectious smile, welcoming aura and amazing strength.  She always made sure that everybody felt welcome and were fed in her home.  She was so strong that even right up until then end she still kept saying, to her family, "I'm going to beat this".

     Tracey loved her family, and entertaining everyone, her favourite times were when the whole family was together.  She also loved sports (specifically the Bombers and Jets).

     A special thanks to Jo-anne (her non-related sister), Margaret and Sandra who were there every step of the way.

     Viewing and Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6th from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie.  Funeral Service will be held at Omega Funeral Home on Friday, October 7th at 1:00 pm.  Interment to follow the service at Hillside Cemetery.
