We are very proud of the fact that we are an independent

family-owned and operated, second generation funeral and cremation provider.

Our establishment has been serving Portage la Prairie and area for nearly 100 years.

We can provide you with advice, information and we will be there to

Since 2019, Omega Funeral Home has created a Candlelight Service Tribute Video in remembrance of our loved ones, that is presented annually at our Candlelight Service held in December. The Tribute Video is also available for viewing on our website during the holiday season.

Individuals are not added to the video unless given consent from the family. For those wishing to have a loved one added to our Video Tribute for the next Candlelight Service please call the Omega Funeral Home and provide us with a photo, month and year of death. Video Tributes will be updated every December.
