Harald Christensen

            After a long illness, Harald passed away peacefully on September 15, 2016 at the age of 86 years.

            He was born in Portage and lived all his life on the family farm north of Westbourne. He loved his home and never wanted to leave it, finding pleasure also in boating, wood-working and fishing (and hunting when he was younger).

            Harald was predeceased by five of his sisters, and is survived by one sister, a brother-in-law and three generations of nieces and nephews.

            Many thanks to the staff at Portage District General Hospital for all the support and kindness he has received these last months.

            At his request, there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
