            Wilfred Joseph Whincup passed away in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 38 years.

            Wilfred liked spending time visiting with his family and friends. He enjoyed various activities such as church, biking, sports and anything to do outside. Wilfred also liked working at Sam Inc., and delivering flyers for CMHA in Portage but due to declining health he could not longer do the jobs or activities that he loved.

            Wilfred (Willy) was predeceased by his father Wayne Whincup; brother Michael (Mike) Beaulieu; grandparents Wilfred Joseph Beaulieu, Hilda Martha and Elmer & Ida Whincup; aunts Maria, Violet, Della and Beatrice as well as uncles Donald and Brian.

            He leaves to mourn his mother Hilda Florence Whincup, brothers Matthew Beaulieu (Nancy), Wayne (Christy), Jeremy (Jackson); sister Anita Jennifer (Maurice) as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

            Viewing will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, Manitoba R1N 1T8.

            Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba. Interment will follow at the Sandy Bay Cemetery, Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba. Pallbearers will be Lorne Whitford, Paul Oudie, Keegan Houle, Nicholas Beaulieu, Matthew Whitford and David West.
