Diane Purdy (nee Loustel)

May 8^th, 1944 – Oct 31, 2015

            Diane Purdy passed away peacefully with her husband and family at her side at Portage District Hospital.

            Celebration of life will be held in the Oakville Community Hall on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM with interment to take place at a later date.

            She was predeceased by her parents Ida and Rudolph, daughter Giselle (Darryl) and brother Duane. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Earl, son Gunnar (Susan) grandchildren Graeme, Mitchell and Tyler, siblings Garfield (Elenor), Valerie (Dwight), Shelagh and many nieces and nephews.

            Diane and Earl spent many years up north from Churchill to Conlin Lake to The Pas and settling in Cranberry Portage to raise their family and enjoyed many years of camping and fishing. Upon retirement in December of 2000 they moved south to Oakville to spend time with their family and grandchildren while enjoying the winters in warmer weather.

            She is very much loved, will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
