Sorry to hear of Roys' passing. Roy and I were both members of a draft of twenty soldiers who were sent to join the Manitoba Dragoons at Debert,N.S. preparing to go overseas.
Rest well, old comrade..

Uncle Roy was a hero and a inspiration for all our family .I was blessed to have spent many good times with him, or talking on the phone since leaving Manitoba. Memories we will always have. What we once enjoyed we can never lose, Rest in peace Uncle Roy.

To all of Roy's family.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Roy, or as Kris called him "Grandpa Snaith". We will remember him for his kind heart and great sense of humour. He was a true Canadian Hero and we have many fond memories of him. Thinking of all of you at this sad time. Family was so important to him, and we know how much you will all miss him.
