I had the priviledge of visiting your mother on a few occasions in recent years because she is a Univesity of Manitoba graduate.  She was a lovely and gracious person.  In the course of our visits we discovered that I also knew two of her children.  Peggy, you were my grad five teacher in Carberry and having known your Mom, can see why your became such a terrific teacher yourself. Brian, you were a volunteer on BU''s Foundation and I know where you got your determination adn generous spirit.  I am sorry for this great loss to you and your families.
Sincerely,
Beth Proven

The Pallister Family,

Mrs. Pallister was a wonderful woman, I was a student of hers many years ago. She had a huge impact on my life, I have many fond memories of her. The one in particular was that birthday paddle she had, it was always exciting when your birthday came around and you got to write your name on it. She will be greatly missed by many.

Jim, Brian, and Peggy,

I remember your mother with fondness and love.  It was always a joy to visit with her at family gatherings.  I am sure that I speak for many of our extended Belcher/Poyser connections who remember her as I do.

My heartfelt sympathy is with you and your families now.

I am thinking of you at this time Jim.  I was privileged to  meet your mom at a reunion on her farm in the Edwin area in the 1990''s. I believe it was a hundred year celebration of the family farm or something similar.

The few minutes I spent with her confirmed the values that makes our country so great. It meant a lot to her that her children continued those values.

Sadness now as you lay her to rest. Best regards.

Arnie

Dear Brian, Jim, Peggy and your family

Thoughts of your mom always make me smile. I still remember the attic in your old house, what a great place to play. I had the fortune to have your mom as my teacher for grades 1, 2 and 3 all in different schools.  I will remember forever the honor of speaking at her retirement.  Dear friends, cherish your memories as you have so many.

Deepest regards

To Peggy, Jim, Brian and families...Although brief, I was fortunate enough to meet your mom while she was at Lion''s Prairie Manor. I was one of the many people who was able to hear her "brag...just a little" about her children, her children-in-law, and her grandchildren...reading this in her obituary made me chuckle...because that is just what she did....Cherish the memories, for those will always be with you.

Dear Brian and Esther and family; Jim and Colleen and family; Peggy, Ron, and family,
So many ways we can think about how your mom has impacted all of us-  from YQS grade three lessons, to her expressing almost as much pride in her former students as her own family, and her enthusiastic support and appreciation of rural community life. May you lean into your special memories of your mother and grandma as well as the love and care of faith, family, and friends.

Dear Peggy,
Your Mom was a warm and wonderful woman whom I admired for her willingness to be a role model for other women in the work force.  She didn''t seem to sweat the small stuff and prioritized things that were important to her and her family.  The relationship you had with her was pretty special; two strong women who shared a life.  Remember with joy.
