We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, grandma, and great grandma. We remember your mom from her teaching days, her love of the Westbourne dances, her open house to her kids' friends (hot chocolate was a favourite on cool fall nights), our time together at the Westbourne reunions, and the "Facebook" family pictures. All fond memories.
She will be missed.
Special thought to her children, Judy, Linda and Gerry.

We were saddened when we received the news that Irene had passed away - I so enjoyed my visits with her - She was always concerned how things were going with my family and spoke very highly of her family - She is at peace now and we will miss her dearly - Love Cheryl Dale and family

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear Mother and Grandmother. I had the privilege of meeting your Mom when she taught in Yellowquill School. I always enjoyed visiting with her through the years. Our prayers are with you as you go through this sad and difficult time

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing.
I had Mrs. Scharien as a teacher at Yellowquill. She had a "no nonsense" approach, but I thought she was fair & we learned our math!
Over the years we always had a great chat when we happened to meet. I got to know her great sense of humour in addition to her genuine interest in others.
I'm sure you will have lots of wonderful memories.
